International Scope

+40 % traffic    |    +23 % sales    |    +25 % revenue

As Global Paid Media Manager at Pepe Jeans, 9 months ago I realised we needed to rethink our SEM (Google & Bing) and AMS (Amazon Marketing Services) strategy.

I reached out to alGenio—we had worked together before—and to me, they stand out for their great attitude and professionalism.

During the selection process, they quickly earned our trust thanks to their transparency and involvement. The proposal they shared included a complex and thorough audit of our Google, Bing, and AMS accounts, followed by a well-defined action plan to improve campaign performance.

We’re genuinely happy with the results. They adapt to both performance and branding objectives, consistently helping us hit KPIs across 11 countries.

Starting in June, we’re moving forward with a full SEO strategy with them—and we fully trust the team.

Kudos to the whole team for your professionalism!”

What we delivered

SEO  +40% organic traffic   |  +23% sales   |  +25% revenue
In just 6 months, our SEO actions brought in qualified traffic—especially from new users (+28%). We worked on improving indexability for rotating products, optimising both new and existing categories and subcategories, and created a scalable SEO-friendly product upload protocol.

Amazon  +2% ad spend   |   -45% ACoS   |   +100% revenue
In 6 months, we doubled Amazon revenue with virtually the same investment. By refining campaign targeting and cutting out irrelevant queries, we boosted profitability and earned the go-ahead to expand into new countries with additional high-performing campaigns.

Google Ads  +27% website traffic   |   +14% new users   |    +10% revenue
Keeping the same budget, we increased profitability by 15% in the first 4 months. From there, we grouped products by margin and launched dedicated Search and Shopping campaigns, all backed by dynamic remarketing in Display.

Optimising results for a fashion industry leader

Pepe Jeans London, the iconic denim brand—also part of the group that includes Hackett and Norton Clothing—came to us with a clear goal: to optimise their PPC results.

They weren’t just looking for a team fluent in the platforms—they wanted a close, responsive agency that could help speed up campaign updates and provide actionable insights for internal decision-making.

We’re truly grateful for the trust placed in us by the marketing, ecommerce, and development teams at Pepe Jeans, and for the agility and openness with which they implement our recommendations—always with a critical, improvement-driven mindset.

Our approach

Pepe Jeans and the other brands in the group already had active campaigns running on Google Ads, Bing, and Amazon. However, they were aware that both brand visibility and sales performance had significant room for improvement.

From the moment we started working together, we focused on optimising and scaling their Google Ads campaigns across Shopping, Display, and YouTube. We tracked performance using a target CPA model, while also monitoring overall visibility and revenue generated through this channel.

On Amazon, through refined audience segmentation and campaign targeting, we were able to both improve and consistently maintain the target ACoS, even during seasonal fluctuations typical of the fashion industry.

After several months managing PPC campaigns, we also began working on SEO. Given the scale and legacy of a site like Pepe Jeans, it’s been a real challenge—but thanks to the proactivity and coordination between both teams, progress has been smooth and steady.

Today, thanks to the results achieved, we continue to open new channels and expand the brand’s digital presence in additional markets.
